A second hello

Hello to everyone.

Today, August 13th, I'm putting my blog up for the Family / Facebook / general public to see, as up to this point, if you didn't have LiveJournal, you probably haven't seen this. So, hey, how's it going? I'm going to Rome. Next Tuesday. Anddddd I'm going to be seeing cool places and meeting new people, not to mention suffering from no Mexican food (oh Robertos), eating far too much Salami (which up to this point I have deemed impossible), and learning that there probably is such a thing as too much pasta.

But that's all forthcoming and food-related. I'm sure there'll be plenty of more interesting pieces of my life to come, and the beauty of it is that I don't have a clue what they'll be. That's what this is for: to chronicle my life and times outside my comfort zone.

So yes, my blog title is a bit incorrect at the moment, as currently, everything's on the road ahead of me, not in the rearview, but in less than a week, that'll all change, and for four months, it will be full of stories and pictures of my time abroad. And because I will be there, and you, most likely, will not be.

So with that, ciao, buongiorno, and stay tuned,

Craig
